Okay, I'll admit it. I hate draging the anchor from the cockpit locker to the bow. It's an awkward job trying to stay on the boat while carrying the anchor and the rode bucket with the boat rocking and pitching. So, this year I added an anchor hanger to the bow pulpit. I bought the unit from Catalina Direct for $45. It was very easy to install. The hanger comes with two vinal pads for the slighly smaller pulpit rails on a Catalina 22. Also be aware that you will need two 10mm wrenches as the nuts and bolts are metric.
The new Anchor Holder mounted on the Christipher-Jin.

The installation took all of about 20 minutes from start to finish.
It looks nice and works great.
I considered getting the bow anchor roller but didn't want to take the Christopher-Jin out of commission to work on that project. Perhaps next year.
